Americans with Disabilities Act
It is the policy of A. Pomerantz & Company to comply with all the relevant and applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Pomerantz will not discriminate against any qualified employee or job applicant with respect to any terms, privileges, or conditions of employment because of a person’s physical or mental disability.
The American with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability, and protects qualified applicants and employees with disabilities from discrimination in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, job training, fringe benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment. The law also requires that covered entities provide qualified applicants and employees with disabilities, as defined by the Act, with appropriate reasonable accommodation, if such accommodation does not impose an undue hardship. If you believe that you have been discriminated against based upon disability, you should contact your supervisor or the Human Resources Department immediately. If you believe you have a qualifying disability and require some reasonable accommodation, also contact your immediate supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
